Big Size Shoes
The bigger the shoes, the harder they fall.
No, that's not right. The bigger the shoes, the more
leather is used. That's right. In order to make big
size leather shoes you have to use a lot of leather.
And that leather needs to be taken care of. Who's
gonna do it? You. It's hard enough to find shoes in
big sizes, so you want to make sure the ones you
have last for a long time. Right? If you take good
care of your shoes, they will take good care of your
feet. And that's the most important thing.
Practicing Good Shoe Care
There are a lot of things you can do to pamper your
shoes and keep them in tip-top shape. The first and
most important thing is to rotate them. Shoes are a
kinda like horses--if you ride them hard, then you
need to give them a rest before the next outing. You
should give your shoes a two
to three day break between wearings so the
leather has a chance to recover. If you just love a
particular style and want to wear them all the time,
why not buy two pairs? Both will last longer that
way.
Another good tip is to use
shoe trees and shoehorns with all of your shoes so
they don't get all bent out of shape. Don't you hate
it when that happens? And don't forget to shine them
up. Shoe shines not only make shoes look new, they
also help protect them from the elements.
There are a bunch of other
tips that can help you get the most out of your
shoes in our "Shoe
Care 101" section of this website. At Big Feet
Store, we are committed to taking care of feet.
(Hey, somebody's got to do it.) And one of the best
ways to do that is to learn how to take good care of
your shoes.
