Diabetic Shoe Measurment

a ruler or measuring tape that has millimeters (measuring in inches is just too hard!)

Stand with your feet even- shoulder width apart. Let your natural weight rest on the paper. There is no need to press down. (Although some people measure you while seated, your foot will change shape when you stand and place your weight on it. It is best to measure standing since the shoe must be able to fit your foot in this shape.)

Repeat the step above for each foot. There is normally a half-size difference in feet. You need to make sure you are fitting the larger foot. (Unless there is more than a half-size, then contact us for advice.)

Measure the length of the foot from back of the heel to top of the big toe, in millimeters.

Measure of the width of the foot across the widest part of the foot (at the ball of the foot), in millimeters.

Obviously, this is not the best method, but it will help if you are not sure about your size.
